#359 – Entering Victoria’s Secret

with 12 comments

Mmm yeah, it’s as if everything in Victoria’s Secret is seemingly laced with plutonium or sulfuric acid. I kid, I kid. It’s not that bad. Well, maybe.

But enough about that. Let’s get on to the real meat of today’s post. And that would be? Why, Italian Spiderman, of course:

Did you watch it? Huh? It’s both ridiculous and awesome, sort of like an extra super large jumbo sandwich brimming with extra cheese and pickles! I would totally watch this if it were a movie. Oh wait. It sort of really is one. More like a made for-the-web TV show, with the first episode here, which is even more awesomer (not a word) than the trailer leads one to believe. All I’m gonna say is that it ends with a blast and that Toby Maguire really needs to be packing a pump-action shotgun in Spiderman 4. Needless to say, I’m a follower.

Lingerie and bad Italian mustaches. You really do get it all here at MyLifeComics

Fill these spaces up with days
in my room you can go you can stay
I can’t sleep
I can’t speak to you, I can’t sleep
now these years locked on my drawer
I’ll open to see just to be sure

First, here’s my new rule on colored comics. I will only color them when I a) feel like it or b) have the time to. So there. If you see one in black-and-white, just know that I was busy and it isn’t necessarily a reflection on my lurve for all of you.

Second, let’s ignore my horrible renditions of the doggies and just look at a couple of photos. Here’s Penny, sleeping how she loves to sleep:

I plan on submitting the above photo to a bunch of XXX-rated websites.

Next we have Cash, chilling on her little red jacket which is above and beyond a pain to put on her. If she doesn’t get her foot through the little arm sleeve on the first go, it is all over.

And last we have Phooka, a cat that is impossible to photograph…

These are like the best pets, and if Pam isn’t too careful I may one day steal Penny, hop the border at Mexico, and turn ourselves into a legendary crime fighting duo that chase down thieves and robbers. Really, we’d be called the Two Ps or something. Oh oh oh! Penny Dreadful and P-man. Dang, I think I seriously might have to do this…

#247 – Seeing Bracken

with 10 comments

Black Friday isn’t too bad of a day if you start your shopping in the afternoon. Sure, you miss some sales, but at least you don’t have to elbow people over the latest and greatest deal.

So, for those that watched the finale of Heroes last night, let me ask you all a very serious question. And by serious, I mean serious. If you had the power to walk through walls and came upon a big, meaty vault door, would you:

A) Walk through it
B) Use a ton of energy to try and dismantle it with your brain

Clearly, the writers forgot exactly how Peter freed Adam Monroe from his cell only a few episodes back. This shames me. It just didn’t make sense. All he had to do was walk through the wall and take Adam with him. I hate stupid things like this. I want Season One back. It had some brains, and I’m not talking about the ones that Sylar liked studying. Gah, I don’t know. Such a big letdown.

Granted, I sweat just from trying to open the lid to a jar of pickles. No, for reals.

Oh em gee, tonight is the second season premiere of Heroes! So excited! And then right after it is Chuck, a show that I’m willing to give my time to in hopes that’ll it’ll be a fun romp through retail sales and governmental kablooie! Since this is like debut week on every network, what shows are y’all going to check out? If any of you say Cavemen I’m punching you in the face. Through the Internet. Zing!

#197 – Heroes Love

with 6 comments

And just in time, too! The new season starts this upcoming Monday and boy am I excited. Here’s a little preview of what’s to come:

Also, I only drew the heroes that I like, and they’re in the order of how much I like them to how least I like them. Yes, I’m more of a Peter fanboy than a Hiro fanboy. According to another trailer for Season 2, it looks like Pete survived that big explosion. If so, rock on! And good-bye big meanie Nathan!

Who is your favorite hero?

Have a nice weekend.

#185 – Fortuneless

with 6 comments

Yeah, it was a real shame. Or maybe I’m just not supposed to have any fortunes. Either way, I don’t think I’ll be hitting this place up again. It was so-so to begin with, but once I found myself ripping the bag to shreds in search of my teeny, tiny little fortune cookies only to come up empty-handed…yeah, that was the icing on top.

It’s weird that today’s Tuesday. Doesn’t feel like it. And now I’ll probably be all confused for the remainder of the week. But in So Awesome News, I bought Season One of Heroes on DVD! Mmm! So awesome!

UPDATE: I think I found the answer to my above problem.
