Lights Come On, Lights Go Off

with 7 comments

That final panel represents my car’s engine light going off. Yup, I’m totally lazy clever.

Maybe the sun will shine today
The clouds will blow away
Maybe I won’t feel so afraid
I will try to understand
Either way

  1. Very clever!!!

That lady just didn’t know what to say to you, and we waited in line for nothing! Oi vey.

That was the following Monday too…and then when we got home chewy was sick 😦 It was a crazy week!

I’m glad Bullet is OK, though 🙂

    • That lady at Sears was on something. I bet she was really just a homeless woman they paid in hugs to stand around and not give people answers.

  2. Let this be a lesson to you. Never go to Sears. Ever. EVAR!

A dealership is okay as long as you expect to get raped on the bill.

Even local greasemonkeys can do that (as we’ve found out) so ask around at the office. Assuming somebody has that same 1992 Ford Taurus with silver paint flecked with rust.

    • The problem is…Sears is the best place to work with my schedule. The dealership is only open Mon-Fri, 8:30 to 5:00. Gee…that’s my work schedule exactly. Wa-hoo! Plus, living alone and living alone with no friends means I don’t have the luxury of getting rides and such.

  3. I’ve always wanted to make a great friend who also happened to be a mechanic. Also, on that just happens to be a great lawyer.

Alas, I still know no mechanics…I’m working on the lawyer though…

    • Can we share the lawyer? I once dated a girl who managed a candy store. That had its benefits…mmm gummi worms.

  4. sometimes, when you get gas (teehee) and they close your tank but don’t give it a full 2 clicks to make it tight, your check engine light will come on for 50 miles then shut off. Then again, mine’s been on for 4 months, and you know what, i haven’t checked the engine yet… perhaps i should…
