Just a Comic About the Movie Valkyrie

…it was more along the line of “Long live our sacred Germany!” Which, of course, means something completely different than the movie’s version. Regardless, even if you can’t stand American actors passing off as Nazis, Valkyrie is definitely worth a watch. It won’t surprise you, but it’s not meant to.

Passed down by the hands of the wise
And what they showed me was broke
Kicked out by the brute of the bunch
I never wanted a show

  1. Hahaha! I didn’t see it but it kind of looked interesting. Did Tom Cruise try to have a German accent? I’m sure that would have been hilariousssss.

  2. The movie starts out with Mr. Cruise speaking German and to my ear it sounded pretty authentic. Then they transition from him speaking German to him speaking English…so, while the audience can understand, it’s implied that everyone in the film is speaking German.

  3. Ahhhh I see. That’s kind of clever, it would have been pretty neat to see him speak German throughout.
