…and you thought your life was exciting!

Labor Day Events, Plus Lady Photos

EDIT: Sorry about the fuzzy artwork. Scanner still hates me with a passion.

How was your Labor Day, if you celebrate such a thing, that is?

Also, to further demonstrate my love for women with short hair, let’s take a look at some of my favorite musicians (their hair has nothing to do with their music, but it’s sort of like an extra bonus, y’know):

Missy Higgins:

Tegan and Sara:

Kathleen Edwards:

Regina Spektor (okay, she doesn’t really have short hair, but I just heart her this much):

Devon Sproule:

So I say…go for it, Tara! You’ve got my devotion. 😀

  1. I know my dear Paul, but I think, I THINK my hair is a bit too wavy and frizzy for something like that, I’d have to destroy it with a straight iron, but we’ll see 😉 I should wait til after the wedding to make any sudden changes with my hair. I don’t want to have a fro seeing people I haven’t seen since I was 10….

  2. I love short hair! I say do it and be damned to the nay sayers. Waves and curls can work with a shorter style. Go for the Missy Higgins 🙂

  3. Some folks really fret over their hair. Me…….not so much. I cut it really short, then let it grow out. Sometimes for a couple of years. Then, I’ll chop it all off again. It’s hair-it grows back.

  4. Forgot to mention, I really like the second panel: “this is hard to do”

  6. It’s times like this when I crave a nice roast beef peppercorn on white, regular of course.

My wife goes from short to long all the time. She’s donated two or three times now to Locks of Love. Me, I don’t care how long or short my wife’s hair is. Just as long as it doesn’t get in my mouth when I’m kissing her.

  7. Tara: Let’s get crazy!

D: Heh, yes. Missy Higgins hair for the win!

Trina: I like to be mysterious when I can; I’ll let readers decide what is actually being thought in the second panel.

Kelly: Heh, what can I say? She draws me in…

TK: Mmm, yeah. Long hair is messy and annoying and just always in the way. But kudos on Mrs. TK and donating her hair. That’s a very nice thing to do.

  8. Don’t eat at Quiznos! Once I got deathly ill (exaggeration)from their olives. why do they put those on sandwiches anyway? They are more of a salad thing. I hate salad & anything else healthy- grease & sugar is much better.

  9. Aw, I like olives and ask for them all the time on my tuna sammiches! Haven’t gotten sick yet, but I’ll keep my eyes open and white blood cells at the ready. 😛
