…and you thought your life was exciting!

#279 – Arizona Vacation, Part Nine

with 5 comments

Oh cruel mistress of irony! How you vex me ever so!

Er, I don’t know what that means. Only a couple more Arizona vacation comics to go and then we can get back to all the exciting (!), astounding (!!), and life-changing (!!!) moments of me life. Eh. Maybe, maybe not. Wait and see.

So, for those that watched that football game over the weekend, what didya think of it?

  1. Ha! That’s exactly what happened to us when we went to Texas. It was overcast, drizzly and in the forties the whole time until the day we freakin’ left!

Since our dive got blown out, we did the next best thing and went to the aquarium. Always a very cool time checking out the fishies, sharkies, rays, and even the octopus gave a good showing. Then we watched Dinosaurs in 3D at their IMAX theater. Rather disappointing. Too much time spent watching paleontologists brushing dirt in the desert, not nearly enough time spent watching dinosaurs stomp around in 3D.

Football? I don’t watch no stinkin’ football.

  2. Isn’t it just annoying?!

Well, if you can’t go diving I guess the next best thing is the aquarium. Did you pet any stringrays? I love the IMAX movies. But yes, there could always be more dinosaurs. Always!

  3. Nah, I didn’t pet the rays this time. I normally do, though. They have a very “unique” feel.

I’m hoping this one will be really good (due out Feb 15 and narrated by Daryl Hannah): Dolphins and Whales 3D: Tribes of the Ocean

  4. That game was a snoozefest meant only to entertain you east-coasters. Aside from the last two minutes and Eli’s one play it was the worst SB in recent memory.

I’m at least glad the cheating Pats and Belichump are kept out of the record books.
