#223 – Pennsylvania Drive
Don’t worry, the rest of the week’s strips won’t look like the mess above.
I’m beginning to get a whole lot more spam here, which I’ll consider a good thing. When nameless folks want to pimp Viagra ads on my site, I know something is up. And some spammers are tricky, making it hard to tell who is real and who is a robot. Not that I have anything against robots. I don’t. I love those tin-can replicas. I just wish they wouldn’t force their marketing jargon down my throat all the time.
Do you have a favorite robot? My vote goes to Johnny 5, hands down.

Off the top of my head, I’d have to say that robot from Lost in Space. One of my favorite shows when I was growing up, and the robot seemed like a pretty good guy (in spite of Dr Smith always trying to get him in trouble.)

R2 of course! Who can beat him?!
And you could have easily drawn a bunch of bright orange and yellow construction signs for your trip to PA. I swear that’s the worst state to drive in sometimes. What kind of state makes it the law to turn your lights on in a construction zone? Is it so you can aim for the construction workers better? Or so they can see who’s going to hit them better? Sheesh.

TK: Yeah, R2 is cool. Luckily, I didn’t hit any construction in PA so my lights remained off. I did, however, see lots of pretty trees.
Bitsy: First of all, not all the Jetsons are robots. I’ll wait until you figure out which one it is. Hint: not Jane.

i don’t know about my favorite…maybe Bender, although he’s kind of a jerk. but i do know my least favorite…Vicki from Small Wonder…you know, “she’s fantastic, made of plastic!…”
what a terrible show and a terrible child actor. oh yeah, and a terrible concept terribly executed! yea!

As a big Star Wars fan and seeing as people mentioned R2-D2, he is my favourite along with C3PO.
As for Transformers, I prefer Jazz over Optimus Prime.
