#163 – Crazy Thunderstorm

Hmm, how to become a successful comic artist? Possibly I am doing something wrong here.

Also, I’ve really been enjoying the work of Enrico Casarosa lately. Check out his neat watercolored journal comics of his trip to Venice.

  1. Pish posh. I’m entertained everyday I read your comic. Granted, there are areas to improve (like color or longer story arcs) but I’m happy with what I see. Why else would I come back if I wasn’t?

And I like today’s triptic layout.

  2. There are not many more things more relaxing than reading when it is storming outside.

Arizona has been seeing its share of storms these past few weeks, and I am embarrassed to say I have not taken advantage of the reading time. Though, I did sit out under the patio overhang next to a pool at Ashley’s g’ma’s house and read. It was awesome hearing the rain hit the pool.

I want to move back to England.

  3. TK: Color takes a lot of time and I’m fairly lazy right now. I do hope, one day, to get this all into color, but that day, I think, is far off in the galaxy.

Patrick: You have to take advantage of every storm you get out there! READ READ READ! Rain hitting pool water has a nice sound to it. And you only want to move to England to do the accent. ‘ello!

  4. The accent is neat, but I loved the weather, atmosphere, and a whole list of other things during my three year tenure there.
