#157 – Concert

The three-panel style, at times, feels a little cramped. So I’ll be expanding when needed. Bigger is better, right? Or is that only in commercials? Regardless, it always breaks my heart to see a wonderful musician get zero-to-zilch love from a live audience. Colbie Caillat went on first, promptly at 7:01 p.m., and there just wasn’t that many people inside the venue yet to listen to her. Then, since she was only the opening act, they played a very short set. I wanted more, I say. More. Alas, she was on and off the stage faster than it took to spend money on overpriced food/drinks inside the PNC Bank Arts Center (hint: one shoddy glass of wine in a fancy plastic cup cost $7.00).

But maybe Colbie will Google herself, find her way here, see just how much I lurve her and her tunes, and be all like “awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.” Well, a boy can dream…

  1. Excellent details. My favorite of the evening – Johnny forgetting the lyrics!

  2. Yeah, but it was even better when he tried remembering them only to fail again! 😛

  3. Why are they called ‘knockers’?

(Sorry for late/random posts. It has been a tough week and just now catching up)

  4. I find the word “knockers” to be more funny than other terms. Sorry to hear you’ve been havin’ a tough week. Get some rest/coffee!
