#123 – Crabbing

with 6 comments

I’m pretty sure that, instead of crabby crabs, we caught the West Nile virus. Actually, we did get a few of those skittish crustaceans, but they were teeny weenies and we tossed them back. Alas, luck was not on our side. And I blame all of you for that.

  1. Nice picture of dad, Biff. Love the shirt. Ahh, the memories of just about every time we ever went crabbing. Low tide, lots of pesky gnats, and the crazy people baiting their traps with chicken. I mean chicken?! And then there’s the doritoes and beer.

  2. Yup, you nailed most of the other aspects of the trip. There was low tide, lots of bugs, and a father/son combo using chicken to lure in crabs (they caught nuffin’). Doors and beer came later on…

COME HOME AND WE CAN CRAB LIKE THERE’S NO TOMORROW!

  3. Well Bitsy, you’ll have to check out The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King to see that some crustaceans eat things that are much less savory than chicken. Seriously, I was pretty surprised by the first part of that book.
