Supertown news and some found sad comics
I’ve recently been pondering about what to do with Supertown since my application to The Rampage Network was turned down. None of the free webcomic hosts really called out to me and I whined a bit online, expecting…well, expecting not much really. Super surprise, though, as LJ reader pixelfish is going to be helping me out with getting Supertown up and running (much thanks in advance to her, and I’m sure there’ll be more thanks to come). So get your insulin shots done with now because the sweet and super adorable comic is most definitely now forthcoming…
Also, while cleaning up some paperwork in my apartment, I stumbled upon sketches of Sad Comics #71, #72, and #73, all three of which I had earlier assumed to be lost. Anyways, enjoy what could have been:

If I told you what it takes
To reach the highest high
You’d laugh and say “nothing’s that simple”
But you’ve been told many times before
- “I’m Free” by The Who
200 Sad Comics – The Leftovers
So, remember that whole 200 sad comics challenge I put upon myself? No? Well, shame on you. Anyways, as I’m wont to do, I failed and gave up at 70 sad comics. They were a lot harder than they first appeared to be. Go on, you try to be funny and sad all at once. Only Jerry Seinfeld can pull that off (remember that episode?).
Well, I was doing some spring summer cleaning last weekend and found a miscellaneous piece of paper with three sad comics sketched out on them. I have no reasonable explanation why these start at#74. I guess I did three others though I did not find them. Either way, enjoy:

Meet me on Thames Street
I’ll take you out
Though I’m hardly worth your time
In the cold, you look so fierce
But I’m warming up
- “Six Feet Under the Stars” by All Time Low
200 Sad Comics – #66-70
Blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda knick knack paddywack give a dog a bone…

200 Sad Comics – #61-65
Good morning. Add these to your breakfast. You might want to put some frosted sugar on them or something. Oh, and #61 should seal the deal that I’m off to Heck when I buy the farm.

For those with no skills, here’s the answer to the #65 sad comic:

200 Sad Comics – #56-60
So, I have lots of ideas for comics and comicky (not a word) things I’d like to do. Probably enough to make my head explode at some point or another. Regardless, I’m telling myself not to do anything new until I finish the projects I’ve started. One of which is 200 Sad Comics, which I will finish up. I even have the next five done and ready, but don’t want to overwhelm y’all with Teh Sadness. Or Badness. Whatever these are.
Anyways, eat ‘em up.

200 Sad Comics – #51-55
Don’t worry, people. Regular journal comics are forthcoming. It’s just that I had TWO nice, relaxing weekends in a row and so very little was drawn, but I’m not going to beat myself up over it. For now, I’m trying to get a bunch done at once so that I can be many ahead rather than one or two ahead. Ya know? Good.
Enjoy some sad/bad comics. Make what you will of ‘em…

200 Sad Comics – #46-50
Well, I haven’t forgotten about this project. I will complete it…eventually. Anyways, I’m one-fourth of the way through and these are just atrocious. Enjoy ‘em, if you care to.

200 Sad Comics – #41-45
Here’s some more, making up for the hippy-dippy trip that was today’s journal comic. These ones are so bad…they’re sad. But I guess that’s the point, right?

200 Sad Comics – #36-40
Well, since television is officially on its last legs (the only show left I watch faithfully that is still on is Pushing Daisies) I now have some free time to draw really bad/sad comics. Hooray, everyone wins! Enjoy the fapping and kickass moustaches…

200 Sad Comics – #31-35
Here’s some more. If any of you find these remotely funny, you’re going to a bad, bad place when your candle’s soul extinguishes. Don’t worry, I’ll see you there. Bring some wine, ‘kay?
