200 Sad Comics – #1-5
So, a pretty popular thing lately has been a bunch of webcomic artist doing 200 bad comics. The idea is pretty simple. Draw 200 really bad, really unfunny (or so unfunny they are funny) comics. You can read some here, here, and definitely here.
I’ve decided to try this to alleviate some of the boredom I am beginning to feel toward drawing my stupid head over and over. Since I already believe everything I draw to be inheritably (not a word) bad, these will instead be known as 200 sad comics. That’s right. Sad can be interpreted however you so prefer.
Now, I must warn readers. These are drawing from every cell of randomness in my body. Expect the unexpected, and I hope you find them nice and sad.
#3 FTW. Probably your finest comic to date; I always love it when you do something obscene.

Sad or just plain scary? Fits in with Halloween coming up, I guess. Except Number 3-that one made me laugh out loud.

Trina: Sad can be interpreted in 1,001 ways. Hopefully others won’t be so scary though. Obscene, possibly.

i actually think these are awesome Paul. i love the journal comic style, but i suspect, especially if you’re feeling bored, that doing these will totally re-inspire and re-invigorate you. these were great. and i agree with everyone else, #3 was hilarious. #2 was a great sight gag. and #4 could be on Family Guy with the wild non-sequiters on that show it would make complete sense…
