Have any of you checked out the comics called Mixed Emotions by Rutu Modan? Seriously, some great stuff.

I’m beginning to get a whole lot more spam here, which I’ll consider a good thing. When nameless folks want to pimp Viagra ads on my site, I know something is up. And some spammers are tricky, making it hard to tell who is real and who is a robot. Not that I have anything against robots. I don’t. I love those tin-can replicas. I just wish they wouldn’t force their marketing jargon down my throat all the time.

Do you have a favorite robot? My vote goes to Johnny 5, hands down.

So, the above isn’t true though when I was there–and later when I drew this–I thought it really was going to be the last nice day to go to the park. October was hitting its stride, the cold and rain were coming in, and I was busting out my sweatshirts. But then the following two weeks offered up more beeeeeautiful days. Sadly, none of them allowed me to watch a pretty girl on rollerblades go round-an-round-an-round for hours. Ugh, I feel like a creepo. Am I a creepo?

Hmm…don’t answer that.

Anyways, weekend plans people?

Some more. Also, just because this first batch has been daily don’t expect that to follow. Though with my new goal to save as much money as possible and frugal it up to high hills I’ll probably knock out a few more of these sad bad thingies.

So, this along with a look at my budget has now affected how I’ll be spending money for the next two months. In short, I won’t. Thankfully, I have plenty of books to keep me busy, but man oh man does it stink to release you were way off on something so important.

Anyways, here’s some good news: Pushing Daisies is being picked up for seven more episodes!

Here’s some more. I don’t even understand what #10 is about, but I think I was trying to express a flower in three different emotional states. Told you these would be bad. Also, I doubt I’ll be able to keep up with the word “sad” in every title for 190 more comics…but feel free to suggest titles and I’ll draw something for ‘em.

You know this has happened to you too. You know you’ve felt both cheated and angry after all your re-setting of clocks. You know you’ve had to curl up in a corner with a bottle of JDs because you just can’t get over such a thing. You know…
